The Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy 2018 With 5 Top Modders In Collaboration with bit-tech and SCAN

Taipei, Taiwan-September 25th, 2018-Thermaltake, an industry leader in computer chassis, thermal solutions, and power supply units, in collaboration with bit-tech is excited to announce that
The Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy 2018 is around the corner which will begin on September 28th along with hardware presentation. 2018 is a particularly special year for Thermaltake because it is the Thermaltake milestone birthday, 20th anniversary. Therefore, the five selected talented contestants will work their best to turn the latest hardware into a masterpiece.

A casemod does of course not only consist of a chassis, so all participants of the Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy powered by SCAN will be provided with Thermaltake Level 20 XT chassis, Thermaltake M360 Plus water-cooling kit, Thermaltake 850W Toughpower ‘SYNC’ Edition PSU, Asus Socket AM4 Motherboard (model TBC) , Asus Nvidia-based graphics card (model TBC), AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, Adata SX600 128GB M.2 SSD, Adata M.2 RGB heatsink, and Adata Spectrix D41 3,000MHz 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 plus a broad selection of other products from the Thermaltake product portfolio. The styles of the modders could not have been more different and we at Thermaltake stand in awe of the results. Each casemod is a true work of art but there can only be one winner – and that is where the bit-tech community comes in.

On August 31st bit-tech officially has announced the top five modders who will be taking part in and compete with each other in The Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy 2018! On September 28th, all five modders will attend The Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy 2018 for the opening ceremony and hardware handover at Scan's HQ in Bolton. After that, the modding battle will begin and they will have until December 7th to complete their projects in time for voting. Lastly, on December 15th, the official closing ceremony will be held at Scan’s HQ in Bolton and the Top three modders will be selected and given prizes with honor.

The very best modder of the Thermaltake UK Modding Trophy powered by SCAN will be invited to the Thermaltake headquarter in Taipei, Taiwan, during Computex 2019 and attend the world’s most important IT and technology show at Thermaltake’s expense. The winning casemod will also be shown at the Thermaltake booth at Computex 2019. All modders get to keep the rig and hardware afterward.

	Richard Ord aka AML CUSTOMS
AML Custom pc. Been modding for 3-4 years and I’m from Newcastle
I live just outside of Newcastle, I am married with two boys. I first got into modding back in 2014, only small stuff like PSU covers and side windows. In 2015 I purchased my first set of water-cooling parts, and this is when I started to take cases apart, moving motherboard trays. With each mod that I do, I try to push myself further. I am looking forward to seeing what I can achieve in the future.
